  • Could that have been it?

We're hearing that Messe Essen GmbH and SIHA, which previously organized Techno Classica, are going their separate ways. Why? We'll find out.

It's a shame, but was it foreseeable? Probably. From the truly world's largest classic car show to—in our perception—only number three on the continent. Paris has been surpassing everyone else for years, and at least since Padova gave the Auto Moto d'Epoca to Bologna... We've noticed it too, in recent years, in the quality, in the auction houses that have gradually left the party. The restructuring of the fair, which took a long time, hasn't really helped. The view? We witnessed, or rather, suffered, the attempts of Retro Classic in Cologne, but… give ‘em a chance.

We've been going to Techno Classica for 25 years, only having to skip the one during the pandemic. We'll miss it, damn it, we'll miss it. And so: you all know the website, the dates, the prices, and the opening hours, and we'll see you there. We'll all go there and celebrate it again - the magnificent Techno Classica!
