It's done... 100% is in! After extensive research, we've been able to close the 40 "unknowns," as we have to assume that these numbers, like some others, haven't been assigned. Of course, that doesn't mean the serial numbers haven't been built, just that they're not officially recorded. With the "modern" models, we're often lucky enough to come across such a number, usually as a prototype or development vehicle. We'll see if anything ever happens with the "old" ones – we're not optimistic.
We've driven away our last Demons! All 8-cylinder Dinos have been stripped of their "?" prefixes and are now correctly presented as two-liter or three-liter models. Another construction site closed.
1,121 new entries were recorded in March, plus a few 499 P Modificati and new 296 GT3s. Without the Dino campaign, there are another 300 vehicles whose data we have had a hand in. Not bad for a month with 28 days! 3,558 cars have received a "new number" so far in 2025.
Now, however, to two events – and you know, we rarely mention them, but this time we have to – that are close to our hearts because we believe they are relatively unique.
On the one hand, it seems like it's time to say goodbye. Messe Essen has not renewed its contract with SIHA, or vice versa. In any case, SIHA represents the presentation of Techno Classica, and the 35th edition could be the last – so, everyone, get there – it's a must!
Things will get exciting on May 3rd in Aalter, Belgium. This is where the classic car farm, which we know from trade fairs on the continent, is based. Its owner, Xavier Molenaar, invites you to the Italian Legends at OTF – “A Collection Beyond Imagination.” Not only does Oldtimerfarm's hall boast around 40 Ferraris and, of course, an ambiance program, there's also the opportunity to chat with the wonderful designers at Pininfarina or simply listen to them. Is there anything better to start May? We don't think so.
Enjoy the spring
