Two weeks before the start of the season, Formula 1 has completed its annual testing.
Due to the new regulations, the number of test days was almost excessive. A total of 13 runs were spread between the two drivers, three days in Barcelona and six days in Bahrain.
The results? Well, the previous tests were never really that indicative of the season, but the stability and reliability of the SF26 were remarkable, and the lap times weren't bad – but, as they say in football, the proof is in the pudding – so we'll know more in Melbourne. It's about time, isn't it?
