Concours & Rallye
Early monring was the best time to visit the 7. Schloß Bensberg Classics. The night was rainy with dry conditions until early noon. The venue is impressive and the service is remarkable as our chief editor, Matthias Urban, reports from his time in banking. The Concours however has potiential to grow to be compared to other events of its kind: owners of concours participants who have nothing else to do than to picture their own car, judges, stepping backwards whilst making videos with their selfie-sticks do not fit the ambience of a concours.

Nagged enough, on to the exhibits. Ferraris are rare on the Schloß, but those shown are rare beauties. 330 P3 #0844 was one of the famous trio that made the 1-2-3 at the Daytona 24 hours in 1967 and is today owned by German Friedhelm Loh. 0338MM, a 250 MM PF Berlinetta, has a wonderful trivia story.

Both histories will be displayed for our Subscribers the next days as well as two Slide Shows, representing both cars.

the "leftovers" of the Rallye were few, Ferrari-wise, Franz Müller's Daytona #13969 and Christian Jaeckel's 308 GTS QV (52585) were still parked behind the hotel.

Paricipants, but already gone home, have been 6259GT, a 330 GT 2+2 "Chinese Eyes, 12387, a 365 GTC from Düsseldorf and 330 GTS #10167, a car we recently spotted in Spa have been on duty yesterday.

A Slide Show from today is available!
