However, only small parts of F1 Racing are influenced by luck. From the outside, it may appear good luck that the Mercedes did not fail in more races or that it could be some kind of bad luck when a manifold breaks or a spark plug fails - in the end it is craftmanship, concentration and accuracy. Good luck has been the penalty for Verstappen and who knows if it was justified, however, it gave back p3 to the Scuderia that had given away a few corners before the finish.

The Scuderia would need a massive miracle to achieve more than being "best of the rest", but that's not unusual if you have the load of three races that you failed in instead of achieving maximum points.
