Dear F-Register Community!

The final quarter is underway, and we are already—well, let’s just say peeking through the doorway—preparing for the year ahead.

The next year ends with a "7"! What does that mean? A nice, round number! A cause for celebration, naturally! And in 2027, another major milestone arrives: Ferrari turns 80!

Officially, we hear—one is tempted to say, as always—nothing. There is nothing special on the calendar for next year, and once again, *Ferraristi* are beginning to grumble about Maranello’s marketing efforts. Remember 2007? The 60th anniversary at Fiorano? No shade trees, water supplies running dry by midday—yet it was a truly spectacular event that we still speak of today with fond nostalgia.

2017? "It’s not happening," was the official line—and then an event took place that was somewhere between unofficial, exclusive, and poorly executed.

May Saint Enzo inspire his successors from above to do a better job this time. Ferrari’s history is so grand—far too grand for the lackluster brand management we’ve seen in recent years.

Others are already starting to plan. The Belgians may not be hitting the 80-year mark, but they are kicking off celebrations in December with "75 Years of Ferrari in Belgium – A Love Story" at Autoworld in Brussels. The 2027 *Passione Engadina* will be themed around Ferrari’s 80th anniversary. We’ll be keeping a close eye on the calendar and will make sure to keep you informed.

Another anniversary promises to be rather unspectacular by comparison, yet it delights us: next year, the F-Register turns 15! Who would have thought? But now, back to business as usual—and the realization that we can boast nearly 2,300 new entries in the database. That’s a lot! An almost unexpectedly high number. Yet, there are few surprises among the new additions: a few Luces (far fewer than anticipated), the first manuals are starting to appear, and that’s about it. There is a lot of experimentation going on behind the scenes with the F171—whether as a CS or an MM—so there is more to come there.

The "unicorn" of the month? There are actually two confirmed serial numbers for the SF-24! As you know, the Scuderia stopped publishing these numbers starting with the 2024 season; it’s purely by chance when numbers do surface, especially since the "retired" cars no longer enter the XX Programme due to all the complex electronics in this modern machinery.

So... on to autumn. Discover what’s new and have fun browsing.
