  • The year is slowly drawing to a close

Welcome to the 99th update, which was actually a rather uneventful affair.

We noticed throughout the month that there was relatively little growth: an unusually low 951 new entries were added, and a total of 1,365 records were processed. The number of new entries since the beginning of the year is 12,058. If we exclude August, which is a holiday month at the Factory, that would mean an average of 1,200 cars per month – we're almost 300 units below that in November. What could be the reason?

With the Amalfi, which is currently being presented in the dealerships, and the 849, we have two models that haven't really taken off yet. The two Speciale editions from the 296 series have also only appeared very sporadically so far. That might be one reason. Whether the overall economic situation, which most European automakers are struggling with, will also affect the Italian luxury sports car manufacturer remains to be seen.

In any case, we will surpass serial number 333,000 in December, just in time for the anniversary update – let's see how far that takes us.

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season!

Your

F-Register Team
