This year's OGP's Friday already impressed by 24 hours of rain and Saturday has not been better, except adding another further different kinds of rain.
Sure, these conditions had an impact on the event, that was once again well organized by AvD, but you fell it every second: more rain, less people.
To be honest, our first thought when watching the Ferrari Club Deutschland's display was, if we had to make an decision to bring our car to the Ring under that condition, we would have refrain either. But then, we noticed that obviously the space for the display has been chosen regardless of the weather and the reults was really meagre. We are not yet gone too serious over the pictures we made, but 60 cars would be our estimate for the moment.
The Parade obviously derived from the cars on display what was somehow disappointig compared to the motley display from Schloß Dyck a week ago.
Probably, the FCD isn't to blame, they are trying hard every year to fill the gap the Factory left when they quit marketing activities in Germany with some exceptions and the Factory's efforts to celebrate leaves only unbelieving amazement.
As a teaser for many rainy spots to follow, we provide you in our today's Silde Show with the most beautiful Ferrari we spotted, #0237EU, the 212 Inter Vignale Coupe and a curious thing that makes you aware that most things return a positive aspect, even spotting Ferraris in the rain:
Have you ever seen a Superamerica with it's electrochromatic roof in the rain? We haven't. As a result we first belived that the roof had been covered by the owner with a certain substance and that this coating would have failed totally. Very wrong, the drops of rain become a yellow colour when they stick on the roof - an absolute amazing impression, don't you agree?
