Ferrari, as all of you know, celebrates their 70th anniversary this year and whilst the Factory is planning an event for some privilged people or owners that are willing to pay for joining the celebrations, dealers, enthusiasts and clubs are celebrating on their own.
After the early big display in Maastricht and the extra edition of Het Loo and beside the local 70 anni celebrations, the Classic Days have been the next hot spot.
However, the special display on the Museumsinsel looked a bit without a theme, it appeared more to be like the gathering of many precious cars, based on the 70th anniversary. Nevertheless, it was big and it was beautiful. Some of Eberlein's well known cars have been joined by cars of club members of the FCD and enthusiasts' cars. Lueg Sportivo provided the more modern segment.
Star at the scene was Arturo Merzario, sportscar driver for the Scuderia, F1-driver and Challenge series participant. He had some brief talks with Matthias Urban and posed with one of the Shraknose-replicas, 0006R, not after having driven the car through Saturday's rain.
Only three cars of the display have not been identified, a Lusso, a 330 GTC and Merzario's "Taxi", a GTC4 Lusso.
The display is featured in today's Slide Show!
