The 3 blue PF Cabrio confusion
It was easy to see a countless number of Modenas of the same livery in the good old days of the Racing Days - all sorted by colour, the "off-colour" cars where placed on different parking lots - away from all of those in Rosso Corsa. But one rearely spots three 250 GT Pinin Farina Cabriolets in the same exterior livery at the same event. Pebble Beach and Monterey may be the exception for that.

Rétromobile this year has been such an occasion what led to a mix-up of the Serial Numbers attached to the three cars. Some sources quote that the car F-Register lists as unidentified Luxemburg-registered car, should have been 1925GT, what it is not!

We provide you with a Slide Show of the three cars being present to confirm what has been the fact:

1925GT is the 250 GT Pinin Farina Cabriolet that was on offer at Artcurial's Auction. It shows a different interior than the two other cars: it is livered in Blu Sera/Nero and comes with a Factory stainless steel hardtop. The odo displayed 70,518 kms when it was photographed by the auctioneers.

The "Lux.-car" at Carpital was registered "62001" and was, amongst other events, spotted by F-Register's crew during Spa Classic in 2014 when the odo showed 48,360 kms. The car was said to have been restrored by then and did show a flawless Beige interior.

The car that looked most similar to the "Lux.-car" was Serial Number 1937GT, livered in dark Blue/Beige as well and shown by Kienle in Paris. The odod showed 03935 kms what might well be 103935 kms.

"62001" sadly still remains unindentified...
