Dear F-Register Community!
This month we are updating the world's most amazing database for the 90th time - what a journey! When we initially loaded it, we were only at 80% of all vehicles, today we have a fantastic 99.987% coverage with so many special features and exciting stories that we have been updating the database with the history data on the vehicles for a long time. And that, with 7,272 cars now with at least partial or complete history, is only an intermediate step.
40 serial numbers are not identified, the youngest is 48779 and the oldest is 18915. Nobody in the world, not even our favourite Factory, seems to be able to assign anything to these 40, but that shouldn't give us sleepless nights, as we are now closer to the action than we ever expected. This month there are 1,181 "newcomers", out of a total of 1,929 records touched. We have started to adjust the allocation to our 8-cylinder Dinos in order to finally clearly distinguish between the identities of the 208 and 308. In the first step, 403 Dinos have already been updated.
And what else? The numbers for 2024 have been released: 13,752 cars, a more precise breakdown will follow, as always, during the course of the month. The first F80s have started production and we were almost certain that the SP3 would have reached the end of production. Once again, we were proven wrong.
Rumour has it that six new vehicles will expand, replace or supplement the range. We are excited. The SF25 has completed its first laps and it seems as if there is still potential or the cards have not yet been revealed.
Let's see, this year too, every update seems to have enough new things and gossip between the numbers - but, now on with numbers, on to the 100th Update! Ten steps to go.
