probably the most disappointing auction weekend for the last two years
After Bonhams' offering in Monaco it was up to RM/Sotheby's on Saturday and some experts called the result of the auctions "a disaster". The environment has not changed in our opinion: interest rate are still low, even the slow rise in the US can not change the picture, stock markets are still prone to any small negative head line, however, even good cars and rare cars and low mileage cars seem not to sell at this time, even with estimates lowered by 20 % to 30 % compared to last year - very strange... a kind of market saturation?
