The Singapore Grand Prix preview
It's the hottest night of the year on the town and that doesn't reflect the temperatures only. The forecast for the race weekend for the GP that starts the oversea period of the Formula 1 schedule will be in a range from 26°C to 32°C with a humidity around 80% what gives a felt temperature of about 40°C. Rain? No way - it never rained at any GP since the first stop in Singapore in 2008. It was the first night race in Formula 1 ever and still is if we recall that Abu Dhabi is a place where the drivers are driving into dusk.

By now the F1-race only represents one event of a real eventful weekend. Musically Rhianna, Justin Bieber and the Killers will appear on stage this weekend.

Three years ago, it was Alonso (#285) who managed to win this race that takes place on public roads, only 30% of the race track do not belong to the road system of daily use.

The track is 5.073 km long and one of the few urban cycles in Formula 1. Drivers rate it as more difficult than Monaco related to the length, the weather conditions and the light.
