While we got it correct last year with the Best of Show, the Daytona Prototipo #10287, we missed this year. Our favourite clearly was the oldest Ferrari on display, Martien Kooijmans's wonderfully restored 166 Inter Touring Coupe #029S from 1949. Martien always is kind enough to tell the story of the six year restoration and the result is unbelievable original. Martien would have deserved the title in our opinion, however, the jury choose a Lancia Astura Serie 2 Special Castagna instead.
The Junior Award was given to Alex van Mozer's 250 GT Lusso #5861GT (thank you, Cor-Jan for making us aware!).
The Ferraris had their own class of '70 years of Ferrari', devided in two sections.
1st in Class became the beautiful 250 GT SWB Competizione of Henk Koel (#1849GT), followed by Martien's 029S
The second section was won by another friend of F-Register, Guus Biermann, who entered his 365 GTS/4 Daytona, #16549.
Henk Koel took another award as 2nd in Class with his 275 GTB/4 09795.
