Dear F-Register Community!

100 – it’s finally here at last. At last? No, in the end it's just a number, but a rather nice one. It shows us how long we've dedicated ourselves to this project with such professional expertise. The Book was already a sensation, and being called "the Bible" makes it even more so. And then there was the decision in 2012 to say that going virtual would be simpler, faster, and more independent.

185169 was the last number that completed "Supplement ¾" back then – 2025 ends at 333767, so, 148,598 serial numbers further along, but the real sensation is… we've been complete and up-to-date for some time now! But we still have so much to do; the framework is built, now we have to add the details that are still slumbering in the archives for so, so, so many cars and for such a long time. We promise, it's coming!

It's wonderful to see how many like-minded people have become friends, some so close that we'd never want to be without them again. It's also wonderful that only a few are that minded that we don't feel the need to say, "The passion isn't worth it," or "We're sharing the wrong passion."

For now, everything we do is still done by hand. AI hasn't arrived yet, and it will only arrive if it can truly help us flawlessly. The mistakes we correct are ones we made before—unpleasantly, of course—and corrections and additions bring order to the data. Over the years, the error rate has remained remarkably and consistently low, which pleases us.

The most exciting stories are the little things that might seem like big things to others, and they bring us great joy because they also acknowledge our work. Whether it's someone wanting to know the whereabouts of a particular car because it once belonged to their father, and we then learned that our research led to a "family reunion," or finding a stolen Ferrari within 24 hours, or helping someone buy their dream car and wanting to know its history or the current owner to negotiate a purchase with—these are our little rewards for the work.

Our thanks go to everyone who has supported us on our journey so far, whether professionally or out of interest. And of course, to all our subscribers and enthusiasts. We'll keep going. Update 101 is already waiting.

Your

F-Register team
