In Deborah's Heaven

This could by far be the most famous auction since the dissolution of the Obrist and Kroymans collections. At least, those are the ones we remember most fondly.

Now, the Deborah Mayer collection. An icon who is very close to us in spirit due to her professional focus and interest in the Prancing Horse. Furthermore, she is one of the few women still in racing. She holds a leading position in the FIA, co-founded a racing team with Iron Lynx, as well as the Iron Dames project. It should have been surprising – and it was – that suddenly, instead of the 488 GT3s with the numbers 3832, 3852, 3858, and 3862, there were Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2s and Porsche 991 RSR II 19 from the 23rd season onwards.

We hear little, but the sale of a unique collection suggests a number of things that are also circulating in rumors. Deborah Mayer should actually be a fantastic figurehead for the Factory, but the marketing strategies of our favorite brand and its stakeholders seem to have other goals.

It's a shame, a shame, but at least RM Sotheby's is taking us across the Limmat to wonderful Zurich and letting us participate in this incredible auction. Thanks again for providing the images.
