The weather turned out to be fine, what was not too common in summer of 2016. Once again numerous Oldtimers and Youngtimers turned up for a weekend fully loaded with racing action of all kind.
Ferrari-wise the number of participants has decrease dramatically. This year saw nothing else than rebuilt cars. The Breadvan may pass of as a historic Ferrari as it was certified by the Factory as a car of historic relevance, but, the 250 GTO/64, the Daytona Competizione and the 512 BB Competizione are all non-originals. However, they have been nice to see.
The Ferrari Club Deutschland attracted about 90 members to join the display with their cars, still being far from the times when Ferrari Deutschland hosted the Ferrari display in good old times. The absence of the Factory really is a shame. If we compare it to the FRD one month later with an appearance of cars that was ten times the OGP number it becomes noticeable that German Ferraristi are still in the highest ranking when it comes to celebrate the Prancing Horse.
