Accompanied by two new colours, Rosso California and Blu California, the Factory seems to transfer its experience with the development of the new F1-Turbo-technology to a street car. The difference is that the new California will use an 8 cyl.-engine instead of the F14T's 6 cyl.-engine.
The second evolution of the California -after the California 30 replaced the California 2+- will be unveiled during Geneva's Motor Show.
A direct-injection, 3855 cc turbo-engine provides 560 cv at 7500 rpm, which makes the car reach 100 km/h after 3.6 seconds. The maximum speed will be 316 km/h and an avarage of 10.5 l/100 km will be consumed.
The lines of the body are slighty modified, keeping the known visiual impression of the California.
