This time the Scuderia managed Kimi's dropout already in Q1. Relying on on the time set by Kimi and Hamilton's and Maldonado's breakdown, the Scuderia decided to let Kimi rest until it was too late for beating Bianci's time set seconds away from the session's end.

We are now in a state where the F14 T is not competitve enough to beat a Marussia. Somehow, the results are reminding us of the times of the late 1980s.

Alonso came in 5th in Q3, whilst other teams like Red Bull, Williams and McLaren are improving, the Scuderia drops back with no sign of any evolution on the F14 T that would be visible.
