first test day in Jerez
Today the new Formula 1 season has started with the first test day on the Spanish track in Jerez.

It appeares that the teams still have lots of work to do before getting reliable cars and results, however, it was eye-catching that the new regulations not only lead to more careful test but also to get used to the variation of new designs. A true beauty has not been sighted, McLaren, Ferrari and Red Bull might be the most eye-friendly examples, some of the car may lead to some bawdily thoughts..., but predominantly, anteater, duck-billed platypus with lolling tongue and vacuum cleaner may be used to desribe noses this year.

8 cars have been present today and guess what? Kimi achieved the fastest lap today with 1:27.104 sec. This is 11.490 seconds slower than Michael Schumacher's record lap from 2004.

A good chance to wish Michael a full and quick recovery once again!
