68 - delivered new through Jacques Swaters’ Garage Francorchamps SOA in Belgium to an American buyer. After passing through owners on the East Coast and Mountain West of the United States, it was eventually re-expatriated over the Atlantic in 1990.
10 - subjected to a rebuild of its matching-numbers engine by Firma Braun, a Germany-based company in Benningen, at a cost of more than €44,000. More than €8,000 worth of other maintenance work has subsequently been applied. Today, there are approximately 3,000 kilometres on the fresh engine, and it is reported to run strong and true, with a superb exhaust note.
