Lot 126 est. €170.000 - €240.000, 7,700 km, 2 owners. One of just eight 575 Superamericas delivered new to France, one of two HGTC-Superamericas
F-Register's Editor's, Matthias Urban, note:
One funy thing is the so called Matricola-plate on the 575 SA. The Matricola-plate is the plate that is placed on the lower dash on the driver's side and that shows the specific car's Serial Number. The Matricola-plate is available from the Factory as part of the option-list.
146647 clearly is a French-delivered SA. The VIN ZFFGT61B000146647 fits perfectly with ass. # 63665, both shown on their usual plates placed in front of the engine bay. Surprisingly the Matricola-plate published with RM's pictures show Serial Number 143929! #143929 is a confirmed 575 Superamerica as well, the car was spotted on Monaco-registration in Summer 2011. The difference between Telaio and Matricola-plate was noticed by our good friend Berthold, member of the board of famous Ferrari Model Club!
We sure adressed RM with the question about the difference, but haven't received clarification at this moment. Therefor, we do have severeal options to explain:
a) Neil Fraser mixed up pictures of 146647 and 143929
b) the Factory incorrectly fitted 143929's Matricola-plate to 146647's dash
c) a very wild guess would be that 146647 is fitted with 143929's dash, both cars have the exact colour combination
However, we will report, if we know more about this issue.
