However, Italia a Zandvoort saw a rush of people we have missed for a long time, at least since the well three day-event was stopped due to the give-up of the Challenge Races and Ferrari Historic Challenge and Kroymans' difficulties some time ago. Even being up early, as early as the roe deers that were still browsing in the dunes, it was the same "mess" as usual - traffic jam from the fuel station at Burg. van Alphenstraat! Max Verstappen's scheduled appearance drove the Dutch to the track.
Kroymans had no special display, the expected showing of the 488 GTB did not take place. All in all we estimate at this time -when we have gone through our pictures and lists only roughly- that the number of Ferraris present was more or less the same as in previous years: approx. 80 to 100 cars.
We were delighted to see some classic Ferraris, outings that become rare these days outside of councours - we "blame" this to the rise in prices of the valuables.
We start with a Slide Show of those today and are returing to finish our Modena Motorsport Trackday "hunting-results" before coming back on a full Italia a Zandvoort report later on.
