Dear F-Register Community!
Time for a little interim assessment. We first, we hear ourselves saying. OK, then you go.
We would like to be further along, but that's perfectly normal. We would like to have more pictures, more histories of cars displayed, but the important thing is that we are still as up-to-date as possible in the database - the highest serial number is well over 314,000 and the stuff that comes off the production line in the factory can't be much more up-to-date. Covered in your favorite database – for sure!
What can we draw from this as an interim assessment of our "favorite Factory"? Production is apparently consolidating at a high level. The 812 series has finally been phased out and replaced with what appears to be the first 12 cilindri Spider from production, which began in recent weeks. The number of units of the "big engine" will now increase again. For the Roma, production of the Berlinetta has just ended and that of the Spider is ramping up strongly. Interestingly, the first "F169 M" have been appearing for about 14 days, still nameless, but we would not be surprised if the Roma successor is actually called Roma Modificato, similar to the Portofino.
It is interesting that the special models of the SF90 have only appeared in small numbers in the (seamless) database so far, but production of the SF90 Spider is apparently remaining surprisingly steady.
The last quarter of SP3 production has begun, with less than 150 units left until the official number of 599 cars is reached. What we hear is that the F250 will apparently go into production shortly afterwards as the successor to the LaFerrari.
Muletto pictures of what will probably be the first electric car from Maranello have just appeared and they are disturbing, as they look more like the brother of the Purosangue than a sports car design icon.
All in all... we are excited to see what happens in terms of production in August, typically the Italian holiday month, because we are comfortably heading towards a new production record.
So, that should be enough to sum it up, right? We wish you all a great summer.
