One of the well respected members of the Ferrari community is Andreas Birner. He entered the scene very young and became one of the distinguished members, which are of course also addressed in special matters.

Today he has something special we want to share to support and protect:

He has been asked by an insurance company to spread the news among VIN spotters that the SF90 Spider with VIN ZFF96NMB000284335, livered in  Rosso Magma, is an insurance write-off. The car was previously registered in Germany on plates ÖHR-F 90. Although the accident damage may not look that bad, he tells us that four assemblage points in the frame are bent, and according to Ferrari statutes a rebuild using a completely new chassis is mandatory.

However, since the owner doesn't want his car to be rebuilt, it was sold in a salvage auction and the insurance company is afraid that this SF90 Spider will be unprofessionally repaired and rejoin the market in a fraudulent way. You know something like: looks like new, never driven in rain or snow or so... For this reason Andreas has been asked to spread the information. The car has also been marked in Ferrari's MODIS system as "repair report required".

So, if 284335 ever crosses your way, just let us know to spread the news.
