As with the protos described previously, the Scaglietti shows striking details that are unique compared to the production cars. The hood leads us to the aim purposed by the Factory: Two big hoods mounted on the front lid beside the wheel houses lead to the suspension as the object of the test.
The suspension test on the 612 Mulotipo Sviluppo Sospensioni is the basis for the suspensions used on today's production range. What fits today's design perfectly gave the Scaglietti a kind of quasimodoesque look, but protos are rarely built to the concept of ideal beauty.
