Some critical voices missed the former more museum-style show when it comes to Ferrari. F-Register assumes that those days have long gone and Paris' Retromobile is more the place to host "musuem pieces" compared to Essen. However, one has to follow the market and the pre 1960 cars are well accepted in the US when it comes to concours, histoirc cars in Europe have become rare to be seen at "normal" events, occasional 275 GTBs here, some Daytonas there at a Classic Rallye and special events like Tour Auto, Concours Villa d'Este and Het' Loo to name a few have left. It looks like emerging prices keep classic cars more and more away from public events. Having said this, the display at Essen was very satisfying this year.
Halls 10/11 usually goes as one hall, no walls, no barriers that seperate Hall 10 from Hall 11. Halls 10/11 host the well situated Classic Car Dealers and smaller dealerships who mostly come from abroad.
We will complete the fascinating 27th Techno Classica with a Slide Show from Halls 10/11.
