S/N #116
#116 was on display at this year's Techno Classica at the TÜV Rheinland stand. It is unknownwho recently owns the car and the condition can be described best as being a "Rolling Chassis", a look through the front grill makes it obvious that the engine is not with the car as well as the back of the body.

#116 was born in 1951 as a 166 F2 and sold to Scuderia Marzotto of Valdagno. The car was winner in Caracalla with Alberto Ascari (1952) and in Marsiglia with Marzotto before it was sold to Berardo Taraschi who raced it from 1955 to 1957 in several local races in Italy. In the late 1980s it was entered in historic races -including the 1988 AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix- by Tazio Taraschi, the name that led to the identification of the car as you can see by the sticker shown within our slide show.
