we are travelling again!
It's a tradition to start the year with one of the most pleasant events to visit. Manageable, but with verve and we haven't experienced one edition that would not have surprosed us. What we are talking about? Sure thing, it's time for the Interclassics at Maastricht's MECC again. This year they will feature one of the Italian rival marques of the times of the economic miracle. Lancia will be honoured this time. Coys will have tow auctions there, one on Friday and the other one on Saturday. The Lot Descriptions are creepy as always and we have to see some cars in person before we can confirm the VINs.

Interclassics 2019 starts with the preview day at noon on Thursday at Maastricht's MECC and will last until Sunday - what a good opportunity to celebrate a new year!

Great events are casting their shadows before. Barrett Jackson wil be the first to start the amazing Scottsdale Week. We will come closer to this next week, however, Barrett-Jackson starts their Scottsdale Auction on Saturday already, lasting a full week!

Still on its way is Mecum's Kissimmee auction, lasting until Sunday. Look up the specific entry from last week in 'The Chronicle'.

Silverstone Auctions accompanies the Autosport International at the NEC Birmingham again with the auction on Saturday. We will report in advance. Autosport International 2019 starts on Thursday already.

Detroit will host the North American International Auto Show again for 15 days, starting Sunday.

And we race again! Asian Le Mans Series will continue in Buriram whilst the Hankook 24h Series Championship of the Continents will start with the 24h Dubai at Dubai Autodrome.

That's a lot for a seceond week of a new year, isn't it?
