Each coachbuilder working on the early cars, used his own body number sequence; none are visible from the outside of a car. The numbers are recorded in the book, either as “Body #”, “PF job #”, “Scaglietti and Touring Body #”.
Dinos have body numbers in multiple places and on various parts of the body, yet none is visible from outside the car.
