Every edition of the Interclassics & Topmobiel features some special displays. This time saw Jaguar’s 80th Anniversary as well as a special display of Formula cars, called the Grand Prix Classics.
Two Ferraris have been on display. #132, a F92A, only has a small and not too successful race history with the Scuderia. It was driven by Italian Ivan Capelli in the Grand Prix of South Africa, Mexico and Brazil. Capelli only finished the Brazilian race as 5th. The car obviously made its way to the Netherlands and it was recently shown at Autopassion Beverwijk in early 2014.
The other car seems to be a bit more tricky to identify, however it is well known as it has been on display in the Netherlands quite frequently. The Serial Number was recently given as 125-C-05 with eng. # 05. The information sheet at Interclassics & Topmobiel called it Ascari’s car that he drove in the III Grand Prix des Nations in Geneva what would make it 125-C-04. Furthermore it is said that, however, the car was renumbered #0566. Let’s call it #04 as long as we know better.
Enjoy the Slide Show! There’s more Maastricht-stuff to come.
